Weedicides

Deel Out

Deel Out is a selective systemic herbicide mainly used for the control of sedges and certain broadleaf weeds in agricultural crops. It is widely valued for its strong activity at low use rates and its excellent crop selectivity.

Key Features & Benefits

Systemic Mode of Action:
Halosulfuron Methyl belongs to the ALS inhibitor (Acetolactate Synthase inhibitor) group. It works by blocking the production of essential amino acids required for weed growth, stopping cell division and gradually causing weed death.

Highly Effective on Sedges:
Provides strong and reliable control of difficult sedge species that are often hard to manage with conventional herbicides.

Selective Weed Control:
Targets weeds without causing significant injury to recommended crops when used according to label directions.

Post-Emergence Flexibility:
Applied after weed emergence, allowing farmers to manage weeds that escape early control measures.

Systemic Translocation:
Absorbed through leaves and roots, then moves throughout the weed plant to control both visible growth and underground plant parts.

Long-Lasting Activity:
Provides extended suppression of weed growth, reducing competition during critical crop growth stages.

Low Use Rate Efficiency:
Highly active at very low application rates, making it efficient and economical in weed management programs.
