Raze is a systemic and contact insecticide combination designed to provide strong control of both sucking and chewing pests. It works by targeting the insect nervous system through two different mechanisms, resulting in rapid knockdown and long-lasting protection of crops.
Dual Mode of Action:
Combines a fast-acting pyrethroid (Bifenthrin) with a systemic neonicotinoid (Clothianidin). Bifenthrin disrupts sodium channels in the insect nervous system causing rapid paralysis, while Clothianidin binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors leading to continuous nerve stimulation and death.
Broad-Spectrum Pest Control:
Effective against a wide range of pests including aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, caterpillars, cutworms, and armyworms, making it suitable for managing multiple pest problems in the same crop.
Contact and Systemic Activity:
Bifenthrin provides quick contact action against pests present on the plant surface, while Clothianidin is systemically absorbed and moves within plant tissues, protecting new growth and hidden pests.
Rapid Knockdown and Residual Control:
Delivers fast pest suppression through contact action along with longer residual protection due to systemic movement in the plant.
